LIFETIME POWERTRAIN LIMITED WARRANTY

At the expiration of the Basic Limited Warranty issued by Subaru of America, Frank Fletcher Subaru (the "Dealer") extends to the original purchaser or retail lessee of each current year Subaru vehicle sold and delivery by the dealer on or after November 1, 2017, a limited powertrain warranty, for the lifetime of that original purchaser or retail lessee.

The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty (the "warranty") is subject to the following terms and conditions:

A.

Who Is Covered:

You are covered by the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty if you are the first registered owner or lessee for use of the vehicle. The warranty lasts for the lifetime of this first registered owner or retail lessee and for so long as this owner or lessee owns or leases the vehicle. Subsequent owners or lessees, even if they are within the same family, are not covered. Sale or other transfer of the vehicle terminates this Warranty.

What Is Covered:

The lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a powertrain component listed in section E below that is defective in workmanship and materials. There is no coverage for lowing in the event of disablement.

When It Begins:

The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty begins at the end of the Subaru Basic Limited Warranty.

Excluded Vehicles:

Diesel equipped vehicles (when introduced), rental vehicles, and government vehicles are not covered. Vehicles used as a police vehicle, taxi, limousine, postal delivery vehicle, service vehicle, general delivery vehicle, ambulance, or for other commercial purposes also are not covered.

Parts Covered:

The Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty covers these parts and components of your vehicle's powertrain:

Gasoline Engine: Cylinder block and all internal parts; cylinder head assemblies, gears and sprockets; vibration damper; oil pump; intake and exhaust manifolds; flywheel with starter ring gear, core plugs; valve covers; oil pan: turbocharger housing and internal parts; turbocharger wastegate actuator; supercharger, seals and gaskets for listed components only.

Transmission: Transmission case and all internal parts; torque converter; drive/lex plate: transmission range switch; transmission control module: bell housing: oil pan; seals and gaskets for listed components only. NOTE: MANUAL TRANSMISSION CLUTCH PARTS ARE NOT COVERED AT ANY TIME.

Front Wheel Drive: Transaxle case and all internal parts; axle shalt assemblies: differential cover; oil pan; transaxle speed sensors; transaxle solenoid assembly: PRNDL position switch; transaxle electronic controller; torque converter; seals and gaskets for listed components only. NOTE: MANUAL TRANSMISSION CLUTCH PARTS ARE NOT COVERED AT ANY TIME.

All Wheel Drive (AWD): Power transfer unit and all internal parts; viscous coupler; axle housing and all internal parts: driveshatt and axle shaft assemblies; differential carrier assembly and all internal parts; output ball bearing; output flange; end cover, overrunning clutch: vacuum motor; torque tube: pinion spacer and shim, seals and gaskets for listed components only.

Rear Wheel Drive: rear axle housing all internal parts; axle shafts, axle shaft hearing. drive shaft assemblies; drive shaft center bearings, internal joints and yokes; seals and gaskets for listed components only.

Four Wheel Drive (4x4): Transfer case and all internal parts: transfer case control module and shaft mode assembly; axle housing and all internal parts, axle shafts, axle shaft bearings; drive shafts assemblies (front and rear): drive shaft center bearings; universal joints and yokes, disconnect housing assembly: seals and gaskets for the listed components only.

F.

When Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty Does Not Apply:

You are not covered by the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty it you are a second or subsequent owner of the vehicle

Inspection:

in the order to maintain the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty, the person or entity covered by this Powertrain Limited Warranty must have a powertrain inspection performed by Frank Fletcher Subaru ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. This inspection will be performed at no charge. The inspection must be made within sixty (60) days of each anniversary of the in service date of the vehicle. YOU MUST HAVE THESE INSPECTIONS PERFORMED IN A TIMELY MANNER TO CONTINUE THIS COVERAGE.

H.

Required Scheduled Maintenance and Repairs:

To keep the Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty in effect, you must keep your vehicle properly maintained and repaired consistent with the recommended maintenance schedule in your Subaru owner's manual. While necessary maintenance or repairs on your vehicle can be performed by the owner or any service provider of owner's choice. We recommend that you use Frank Fletcher Subaru for your maintenance and repair. It is the owner's responsibility to establish that all recommended scheduled maintenance and repairs have been timely and properly performed (although Frank Fletcher Subaru will maintain records of all scheduled maintenance and repairs on your vehicle done at Frank Fletcher Subaru at no additional cost to you.) FAILURE TO HAVE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE PERFORMED CONSISTENT WITH THE OWNER'S MANUAL OR OTHERWISE HAVE YOUR VEHICLE REPAIRED WHEN NEEDED VOIDS THIS WARRANTY.

Repairs Under this Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty; 

How to get Service:

All work for repairs covered by this Warranty must be performed by rank Fletcher Subaru or another repair facility approved in advance by Frank Fletcher Honda. The owner will bear the cost of transporting the vehicle to the repair facility for repairs covered by this warranty, including any required tow charges. To arrange for repairs under this

This Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty does not cover damages or failure resulting. directly or indirectly, from abuse, negligence, misuse (including racing or overloading), improper repairs, damage from tire, flood damage, vehicle accidents, theft, alteration or tampering (including installation of non-genuine accessories), lack of proper maintenance (including use of fluids other than those specified in the Owner's Manual), installation of non-genuine parts, airborne chemicals, tree sap, road debris

(including stone chips), rail dust, salt, hail, wind storms, water contamination, lightning. ice or freezing conditions, and other environment conditions.

This Lifetime Powertrain Warranty

also does not cover any of the following Items or conditions:

Tires, however

separate warranty provided by the tire manufacturer.

vibration, cosmetic conditions, and other deterioration caused by normal wear and tear.

-Maintenance Expense: Normal maintenance service such as engine tune-ups, replacement of fluids and filters, lubrication, cleaning and polishing, replacement of spark plugs and fuses, replacement of worn wiper blades. brake pads/linings and clutch linings. - Vehicles with Altered Odometer: This Warranty is void if the vehicle has

an odometer which has been altered so that actual mileage connate be determined (unless such odometer failure was due to defect and the odometer was replaced by an authorized Subaru dealer). See Dealer for all details.
